The temperatures just rose above freezing here in Austin, and after a week of record lows. We're counting our blessings to have heat, water (boiled), and food. Friends made use of Murray's office, too, since it never lost power, heat or water. There was beauty, too, in the generosity around us and the snow was breathtaking at times and as the ice melted in the trees, the sound was haunting.
